Zhu Xinjian: from animation to contemporary ink

A nonlinear path
Zhu graduated from Nanjing University of the Arts in 1980 and stayed to teach. He left for Paris in 1988 and returned in 1993. The file places comics, animation design and later ink practice side by side.
