Painting beyond the object
Lin treats painting as a bounded physical space that can be entered and inhabited. Viewers move through colour rather than keeping distance from an object.

Traditional patterns enlarged
Traditional Taiwanese textile motifs are enlarged to architectural scale, establishing new proportions with doors, columns, paths and bodies.

The viewer activates the space
Projects across Auckland, California, Manila, Melbourne, Taipei, Mexico City and New York respond to different buildings, while viewers' routes and encounters complete the space.
What this means
The work shifts public art from an object in space toward how space itself is shared.
