A method rather than a fixed style
Born in Italy in 1986 and now based in Berlin, Iacurci works across painting, murals, sculpture, drawing and installation. Across these media, figures and forms are repeatedly taken apart and recomposed through new relationships of outline, colour and scale.
Why the site matters
Since 2009 he has produced large murals and installations for public and private institutions. Walls, corners, entrances and the viewer's movement become part of the composition, changing how a familiar site is perceived.

Trompe l’oeil in Mexico City (2017), Gypsoteca in Milan (2018) and Tracing Vitruvio in Pesaro (2019) offer concrete points for following his interest in visual illusion, bodily scale and spatial perception.
